In the five games involving Luton Town this year, we have only seen one game finish with any side keeping a blank sheet (a defeat away at the sound Sheffield Wednesday).
It’s evident the Hatters concede and will surely score more in the forthcoming months, and considering Barnsley have conceded 10 goals in their past four games, we could be in for some activity.
Rochdale’s fixture against Blackpool will be a toughie, but I think they will make a fist of it — leading in teams scoring.
While Blackpool, although generally quite powerful, also have observed both teams score the Dale have scored and conceded in one game this season.
This could be a real cracker.
In the end, while not the very hot fixture on paper, I’ve Port and Grimsby Vale to score against each other.
Port Vale have seen every single game ending with both teams scoring thus far in the campaign, while Grimsby have just failed to score — while keeping just one sheet.
I do not expect fireworks, however Vale have found the net against Colchester and Salford around the road–equally seen as possibly tough areas to go at the onset of the year –which should put them up nicely against a Grimsby costume whose 2 home league matches so far have witnessed both teams rating.
