Las Vegas – Maybe you weren’t sure — or didn’t care — if Gisele Bundchen’s husband and the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl this month. But you understand why”The Favourite” is a favorite to win an Oscar for costume design, and you are eager to bet Lady Gaga snagging some hardware for her performance in”A Star is Born.”
Now, for the first time in the U.S., you can legally bet on one of pop culture’s biggest events.
New Jersey is the country’s first nation to permit sportsbooks to take wagers on the Oscars, taking after a common practice in Europe and providing Western enthusiasts another option besides casual pools.
