Men and women will compete to be hosted Annika Sorenstam and by Swedish golfers Henrik Stenson next calendar year.
The Scandinavian Mixed is co-sanctioned by the European Union and Ladies European Tour and will comprise 78 men and 78 women .
The event, with a complete prize fund of 1.5 million euros (Number 1.3m), will count towards world rankings.
It takes place from 11-14 June at Bro Hof Slott at Stockholm.
Hurry to Ryder Cup points along with Dubai points will soon be accessible to the guys as well as counting towards world rankings, and Order of Merit points are going to be on offer for those women.
Im thrilled to host the Scandinavian Mixed alongside Henrik at Sweden for the next few years, said Sorenstam, who retired from competitive golf in 2008 after winning 10 majors.
Bringing men and women together in a combined tournament is enjoyable for fans in Sweden and for the international sport because we continue to showcase golf is a game for everybody.
Ladies compete against guys in the GolfSixes team event, while womens tournaments run concurrently with mens events in the Trophee Hassan in Morocco and the Vic Open in Australia, however this is going to be the very first time theyve competed against each other at a full-field format.
While Sorenstam will perform in the tournament pro-ams stenson, 42, five-time Ryder Cup player and the 2016 Open winner, has committed to play with the big event for its first three decades.
